Best ways to make money??
Hi guys!
Now that I've completed all 3 campaigns and done my fair share of PvP I'm now trying to get the more high end and expensive items before GWEN comes out... but the ways i make money are slow and boring. Can someone give me some tips on how to make quick money If its profession specific can it plz be warrior builds..... though if there is an amazing build out that can roll in the cash I'm willing to start a new PvE with a different profession |

Maybe you shouldn't expect everyone to do the work for you and hold your hand then. 2 replies, both giving you suggestions and you thumb your nose at them. Guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Your question was answered, and it gets answered at least once a week with another "How can I make $$$$$" post.
Play the game. Explore areas, especially in hard mode. Just by doing that and selling stuff to crafters and merchants I made 100K in about two weeks. |

Okay let me tell you my method of making money. First I farm vermin for a while till I have around maybe 30k (quite easy) then look around LA dis 1 and wait for someone to sell a popular warrior item (warrior item because thats the most used class) if they say the want 25k for it say "woah woah thats a lot would you go down to 18" sometimes they tell you to take a hike (get prepared for some cursing in there) but sometimes the ppl will be desprete for the money and go down that amount and then you buy it. After sell it for 25k thats a profit of 7k. Now I know your saying 7k is not a lot but after time it adds up and you can try on a higher scale. Someone like me whos been doing it for a while I sometimes do it with expensive stuff such as mallyx minis, ele swords and expensive items. If you practice my method youll become rich quick. Also if you decide to take my advice and need help you can pm me (my char names on left)

In a sense, GW is like real life. Every get-rich quick opportunity
a. has passed you by b. Isn't really that quick c. Is more risk than reward d. Is a hoax e. Something you should stay away from And I'm going to get flamed a bit for saying this, I know, but I need you to understand something. Warriors are alright at farming. Not really all that good at it, the warrior farming days of old have gone. Take an E/me or a 55. Reliable, easy, efficient. If you want to know good spots, you can pm me in game, I'm always happy to show people good places. |

Here's my $.02
I've been working on my skill hunting and treasure hunting titles, and needless to say it can get expensive (1k per skill, 600g min per chest). I got strapped for cash, so yesterday I ran all the hdden treasures in NF. I had already opene about three or four, so i couldn't get them, and there was on I skipped in the Domain of Pain. I equipped about half of the items I got on heroes and merched the rest. All in all I got somewhere between 25 and 30k for only a couple of hours. You can only do it once until they regen, but if you haven't done it yet it is well worth it and gets you cash fast. I will easily be able to finish my Elonian Skill Hunter title without running low on cash again, and I'll even have better equipment with which to do it =). |

it's too bad that when the treasures reset, the drops become worse and the amount of money you get diminishes drastically.

im a novice farmer, i farm with my warrior and my heroes, i farm realm of torment. gate of secrets, i make around 3-5 plat per run , not including golds.
i find great rares in the chests. and i farm LB points at the same time which makes farming Realm of Torment easier with increased LB titles. also, hidden treasure running every 45 days brings me about 20k. running is another way to make money, but personally i do not run, too many no pay scammers. also, trading in town can take awhile if your asking for the highest prices. so lowering the cost by 20-30% helps speed the sale along. i like to put my trade item in search, then kick on the playstation and play some god of war 2 or ff12 while i wait. helps pass the time. i'm not a big fans of towntrades because i waste alot of playtime. but im starting to get into the routine of selling for an entire day, then playing once everything is gone. sell of all the low cost items first, save the high cost items for the guru sell section or your own personal sell site. another tip on selling is to check every town's search function, i find great deals in the oddest places. just sitting in 1 town spamming isnt a good idea and take alot longer than jumping around the globe. i would still be trying to sell things if i just sat in 1 town. you could also hire someone to farm for you. request someone to farm a green you want. you buy it at half price, then sell for full price. i actually farm for people and ask for half the guru listing. so they are really happy when they get a a green for 5-10k then sell it for 20-30k. and i dont feel the loss. hope this helps. |

i'm not very good at soloing, so my main source of income is AMBER. yes amber. it would take time however to gather amber by redeeming your faction point to the kurzick beurokrat. (i'm assuming u have faction campaign). a piece of amber would sell for 200-250 gold... do few AB, redeem the faction point for ambers, then declare at kaineng "wts ambers 250g each" lol.

Yes trading. You'll NEVER get more than 100k by selling something to an NPC. Most of the time, less than 400g for equipable stuff and less than 5k for rare materials.
You may get more than 500k from a single item by trading with other characters if the item is rare enough. But you must enjoy trading or find good ways to advertise your merchandise, or you'll get terribly bored of sitting in outposts. Just farming will not get you real wealth, you'll get more cash by trading demanded items with players. If you need just a quick cash shot, much like 100k in one day...a month... you'll better have 10 characters with access to all 12 treasures, and patience to wait until they reset. |
